From Grandfather’s Shop to Global Entrepreneurship
From my grandfather’s small grocery — where I first learned the principles of respect, responsibility, and resourcefulness — to my current work in digital innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship, my journey has always carried a deep connection to values that today align naturally with ESG principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. These seeds were planted more than 35 years ago, long before the concepts themselves became widely recognized.
My entrepreneurial story began behind the counter of that shop, where I discovered the fundamentals of business, communication, and community. Those early lessons shaped what I now consider my ikigai — the intersection of passion, mission, vocation, and profession. They taught me not only how to engage with people, but also how to understand needs, create value, and act responsibly within a community — principles that today form the foundation of my approach to sustainability and ethical innovation.
Early interactions with customers sharpened my negotiation and communication skills, which later became essential in my consulting work across business and politics. From building websites as a teenager to founding itman.ro, my path reflects continuous adaptation, curiosity, and a commitment to meaningful progress.
My move to Denmark and the launch of ocarte.dk and Bonea Creative Studio opened a new chapter, enriched by my formal studies in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Each milestone has been a step toward a broader mission: helping individuals, startups, and organizations grow with purpose, responsibility, and long-term vision.
I have been part of the digital revolution from its early stages — witnessing and contributing during the rise of the internet and the emergence of companies like Google, Yahoo, later Meta, Tesla, and Apple.
